About the project
Esther Alcalde is an architect based in Basel, Switzerland, with a distinctive approach that blends architectural design with a keen passion for object and industrial design, particularly within the luxury sector. After completing a specialized master’s degree at ECAL, Esther sought a personal identity that would encapsulate both her architectural work and her interest in designing functional, elegant objects.
As part of her journey, I had the opportunity to collaborate with her to create a cohesive brand identity that reflects this dual practice. Additionally, we designed her final degree project — an editorial publication that showcases the breadth of work she developed during her time at ECAL.
